It all comes down to whether personally you feel that having a nursing top makes breatfeeding in public easier. Breastfeeding is mostly on demand and as a new born baby needs to be fed every 2-4 hours, (on a good day) by the time you have got yourself ready to go out its feeding time again.

When looking for a nursing top, you should aim for those that you know gives you a opening you will find easy to manage, but also look for durable lightweight material as you will be washing the nursing tops due to milk and leaks. I would recommend when buying nursing tops to look for those in the colours that you can mix and match with your trousers or skirts.
Nursing tops are great when you are out and about, going to the shops, the park or even when having a coffee, you will get so skilled at breastfeeding as you will be able to feed you baby discreetly whilst enjoying a decaff latte!
However you can also wear nursing tops on more formal occasions as they can be dressed up with jewellery or a little make up and something that is plain will look magical.
Remember you dont need to go overboard when buying nursing tops, a lot of the items we sell are dual purpose as they can be worn during pregnancy and then can be used as nursing clothes as they have the access.
