If you are reading this chances are you have a computer. Why not turn your computer into an asset rather than a time wasting liability? Yes online games are fun and social media can fun as well. What if you were able to make a living using your computer? It might be easier than you think.
You probably already have a FaceBook account, a twitter account and a MySpace account. Why not allow them to make you money while creating relationships and learning new things? People would not continue to market on these sites if it were not of value to them. The easiest way to trade your time for money is to offer value to others. We should all be doing this with everything we do.
Ok so I know that sounds as if it would be easier to say than do, however it is pretty easy. The way I approached it was to find a business I could run the way I wanted. One that had a product I could use and one that wouldn’t break the bank to start. After spending far too much time I ran across it quite accidently. I was checking out FaceBook and a friend of a friend I know posted something thanking him for introducing them to this great opportunity. I had to check it out and guess what it fit everything I was looking for plus more.
So what does the perfect business look like in your eyes? Maybe you like make-up so Mary Kay or Avon might work out for you. Maybe you are into health and vitamins or juices or lotions. Maybe you are into travel or personal development. Whatever it might be you have to become a product of the product. Most women would not buy Mary Kay from a man. Why, because he can not give you first hand information about his experience.
Pick your business with passion. Is your business something that you would be proud to tell your friends and family about, or something that you hide from? Thinking of some of the richest people that come to my mind all of them display huge amounts of passion for what they do. A business without passion is simply a hobby. Yes it is true many people turn hobbies into big business, but to me it sounds so much easier to turn a passion into a business.
To be successful at any business is going to require a good amount of time. Success is up to you. Success is also measured by you. Many people think a big house and an exotic car mean you have reached “success” while others measure success by what they can give to others. I prefer to be in the later group. The more you give the richer you will become financially and personally. How great would it feel to have the time to be a big brother or big sister to someone that doesn’t have one? Or spend a lunch helping out at a homeless shelter? You have what it takes to make the decision. It lives inside you, just reach in and find it and put it to use.
Create the life you want, because if you do not chances are someone will create your life for you and you may not like it.
