Other Than Professional Training, What Do Top Hairdressers Need To Succeed? Part 3

3. A place to meet with other small business people to share ideas with, and cross-refer-customers to:

This has been known as a master mind group; which implies you get together with maybe 3 or 4 other entrepreneurs and develop strategies that will help all of you build bigger client lists. This could be an incredible experience for all those that are involved to bring in new customers and of course you then refer them to the other members of your group.

I could see you with the owner or manager of possibly a car wash or an oil lube store, or perhaps a coffee shop or a groomer for your pet. And you could create some coupons swap with each other to give out to your clients so they can get a discount on other products and services from other businesses. And then when the other businesses have customers come in … they give your coupon for a percentage off on a cut. And your group is exchanging customers with other businesses that are not in competition with you; so tell me who the winner is?

A. Is it you?

B. Is it the other business?

C. Is it your customer?

D. Or it is all the above? I pick “D” and I think you will too if you’d think how well this could work for all of you.

Is this new? No! Networking has been going on with a variety of completely different types of businesses.

So, do you know any business owners that would like more customers? Can you write down a list of them that you already know about and trust? Be sure that you trust them, then call them to get together and present your strategy to see if they’d be interested in forming this master mind group to exchange ideas on business building.

I hope that this gets you thinking outside the box or around the edges of the box to develop your marketing abilities and take them to the next level.

I do have more available for those that want more and it’s all in a book I wrote called “High Stylin’…A Salon Business Building System” that’s available now on my website.

Which is at www.stylin2succeed.com
